Generally, the Hotel made a good, clean and tidy impression. We were surprised to find a small breakfast there, which we found a good benefit. Staff was friendly, plenty of parking was available.

The hotel is very near of the restaurants: 1-2 blocks. Is very silent. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Heating worked well. Hot water too. Nice breakfast. Reception is very kind. Halloween decoration was cool! :)

Great hospitality, clean, close to stores and gas stastion. About 40 minutes of driving through beautiful scenery to Yosemite. Would visit again for sure.

Excellent, welcoming friendly staff who gave recommendations of where to eat in town (1850 for the burgers and drinks was a great shout!). Pool nice and warm in the fall sun. Pioneer supermarket and pharmacy plus shops 5-10 min walk maximum.

The location, the city, and the kind staff. The room was great with a coffee machine and 2 separate beds. The breakfast was simple but good. I would recommend this one!

Elevators worked well. AC was strong. Toilet water pressure was good. Breakfast area had hot water, tea and coffee all day for use all day long. Rooms had individually wrapped cups. Sufficient parking lots. Supermarket and eating places nearby.

Nice clean motel in a great location where you can walk to most places easily in Mariposa. Although they did not say they had a breakfast, it was a pleasant surprise to find a simple one. The shower was very nice.

The location is ideal for visiting Yosemite national park and the surrounding areas. It is a 1hr scenic drive to the park. Mariposa is an old miners town with a lot of good restaurants and quaint shops to wonder around. The staff in Monarch were very friendly and able to recommend restaurants to try in the evening. Rooms were very clean and had coffee, fridge and microwave facilities. There is a large free car park to the rear and a swimming pool. We had forgotten that a continental breakfast was included with the room and were pleasantly surprised, plenty of bagels and fruit drinks etc.

It is a fantastic place to stay if you plan to visit Yosemite National Park. The place was tidy and clean, and a very good breakfast was included. There is a free parking lot. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's a wonderful, cozy town! I highly recommend it!

Good option to stay when doing the Yosemite trip but you don’t want the lodge. Mariposa is cute little town with many shops and restaurants cca 45 min drive from the west park gate. Big and comfortable room, clean hotel, friendly staff and safe parking zone.

Everything it was perfect ! Staff lovely, room big and very clean and perfect beds to retreat to after a long day in Yosemite. The pool isn’t heated but it’s a perfect temperature and could easily spend hours in there,
