Children and extra bed policy
Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for US$15 per person per night when using an available cot. Children up to and including 12 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. People no matter the age stay for US$30 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform The Monarch Inn in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property can only accept bookings from essential workers/permitted travellers, during dates where such guidelines exist. Reasonable evidence must be provided on arrival. If it isn't provided, your booking will be cancelled on arrival. Please note: - Please check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) closes from late October until late May and is subject to change based on weather. When the Tioga Pass Road is closed, it is not possible to access Highway 395 near Mammoth Lakes and Lee Vining. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year. Please note: Guest credit card will be authorized to guarantee the room. Full payment is due at check-out. Some of our rooms may accommodate pets. However, pets are not allowed to be left unattended in the room or elsewhere at the hotel. If they are found unattended at the hotel, a $1000 fee per pet will be assessed towards your stay and you will be required to end your stay immediately.
